For Jews only

What does the number 86 mean in the web address and e-mail? It is the numeric value of the name אלהים "Elohim". This is the first name of G-d used in the Bible. The first mention is in Genesis 1:1. As you know each Hebrew letter has a numreric value attached to it. The numeric value of each letter in אלהים "Elohim" is as follows:

 א = 1
 ל = 30
 ה = 5
 י = 10
 ם = 40
Total = 86
Before the Hebrew Alphabet came into existence, there was a Proto-Canaanite script. This script later became known as the Phoenician alphabet. The Phoenician alphabet was made up of signs and symbols that represented words. It was a “picture language”. Much like a sign on the side of the road that has a picture of an airplane, you know there is an airport nearby. Later, many of these signs and symbols were used to help create the Arabic, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Greek and Latin alphabets. I am going to show you in great detail, and with great amazement, how G-d Almighty used signs and symbols that later became words to get His message of Salvation to mankind.
